Music
Music is a college major that allows students to explore their passion for sound, performance, and creativity while building a strong foundation in music theory, history, and technique. Students can focus on areas such as performance, composition, music education, or music technology, depending on their interests and career goals. The major includes both individual and group instruction, with opportunities to perform in ensembles, recitals, and concerts. Music majors develop skills in critical listening, collaboration, and artistic expression, while gaining an understanding of different musical styles and cultures. A degree in music can lead to careers in performance, teaching, composition, production, or arts management.
