Nursing
Nursing is a college major that prepares students to care for individuals, families, and communities by promoting health and treating illness. Students learn essential skills in patient care, anatomy, pharmacology, and medical ethics, along with hands-on training through clinical rotations in hospitals and healthcare settings. The program teaches both the science and compassion behind nursing, helping students develop strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. Nursing majors are trained to work in fast-paced, demanding environments and to respond to a variety of health situations. A nursing degree leads to a rewarding and high-demand career, with opportunities in hospitals, clinics, schools, and public health.
